All children of the school 'The Bush', located in Abanilla and under the Ministry of the Presidency, participated in a series of educational workshops in which, through various activities, have expressed their opposition to violence against women and / or their children, to mark the International Day against Violence against Women, which falls on November 25.

The initiative has had an impact on awareness, awareness and prevention of domestic violence among children resident at the center, which give effect to the internment judicial measures imposed by the Juvenile Courts.

Awareness and sensitization workshops

The initiative has been developed over the years through various workshops, in which the young men came in contact with values ​​of respect, equality, attitudes and alternative ways to promote a balance of power and, especially, awareness to get open sexist stereotypes underlying inequality.

Guided by professional monitors 'The Bush', young people, gathered in six groups, have shown their creative profile through a photographic exhibition, with several posters produced in the center reflecting this problem, and a presentation on power point on 'The Mask of Love', a program organized by the ministries of Education Chair and for the prevention of intimate partner violence among young people from the classrooms.

Children also participated in the development of a newspaper, which collected real news, resources, support, care and prevention in the Region for the prevention of gender violence and statistics of recent years.

The artistic touch put him through a poetry-music and storytelling.

Under the title 'Put words and music to the struggle against abuse', children poetry and music merged with themes related to gender violence.

In the second activity, the youth gave life to a traditional story, which transformed the roles of the main characters and accompanied by an elaboration of the same 3D graphics.

For the exhibition of these works, was adapted physical space within the center, decorated with different motifs related to the topic.
