MasTrigo doubles its turnover and its workforce in 2019 (30/01/2020)

The Murcian company MasTrigo, specialized in the preparation of baked bread and snacks, doubled its turnover during 2019. If in 2018 its turnover was 1,024,000 euros, the period that has just ended closed it at 2,017,000 euros.

"We are very happy because the numbers consolidate our way of working, guarantee the good reception that the market dispenses with our products and are the reward for so many hours of hard work," explains its founder and CEO, Salvador Pina, who points out that Another important fact in 2019 for your company, whose products can be found in the main distribution chains (Carrefour, El Corte Inglés, Alcampo, Día, SuperDumbo, Consum ...), was the duplication of the workforce.

"The production and marketing needs have meant that in this course we have just finished we have passed from 14 to 28 employees, which fills us with satisfaction because one of the main obligations of companies is to create employment so that our society can grow" , says the CEO of MasTrigo.

In addition, during 2019 the brand increased its production line by introducing that of roasted breads to three lines.

"In it we can make long-lasting soft breads and healthy pastries," said MasTrigo, whose international sales volume reaches 35% of the total.

A marketing that reaches countries on five continents, such as the US, Canada, France, England, Benelux, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Guatemala, Chile ...

Expanding lines

Currently MasTrigo has three product lines (MasTrigo, MasTrigo Bio and MasTrigo Gourmet), which will soon become six.

"We are working on three other lines, focused mainly on promoting a healthy diet and also for the smallest ones, and that will see the light during this year," says Pina, who reports that all these lines apply to her range of products: donuts , spikes, scolding, crackers, toast, canapés, cereal and seed sticks, croutons, sweet bread, muffins and cookies.

The Murcian firm, founded in 2010 and based in Abanilla, sells healthy, exclusive and high value-added foods.

"Our philosophy is to offer a healthy and natural product, in which the base of our recipes is based on the Mediterranean diet with raw materials of Spanish origin," recalls Pina, fourth generation of artisan bakers in the city of Murcia.
