The Minister of Health and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Palacios, today visited the residence facilities in the town Altavida has Abanilla and the elderly are cared for, people with physical disabilities and people with mental illness.
The Department has concluded at the residence a total of 74 places for aged care to which they are given a comprehensive social health care aimed at improving personal autonomy, as well as specialized care required in each case.
In addition, the Department has 36 squares arranged for care for people with mental illness and six places for those affected by physical disability.
The head of Health and Social toured different areas of focus of the center and emphasized "the great work that all residential staff to ensure residents the best care and necessary health care, while working in personal autonomy to improve the quality of life of users. "
The Ministry has a network residential aged care public squares formed by 2355 and 1,114 public places in homes for people affected by intellectual disabilities.
