The Minister of Public Works announced the start of construction on the road to the village of El Canton in February (09/01/2015)
The Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, met with the mayor of Abanilla, Fernando Molina, and the headman of Canton, José Riquelme.
At this meeting, Barnabas announced that in February will begin work on the RM-A30 road, connecting the hamlet of El Canton to major roads RM-410 and RM-422.
The works will be projected on a stretch of 3 kilometers and consist of the widening of the platform and the reconstruction of the pavement.
The budget amounts to 240,000 euros.
